It's starting to sink in

Ok, so hubby's been gone 1 week. Now, he's usually gone for 4- 6 weeks at a time anyway for work (as an electrician on the north slope Alaska oil fields) so we really didn't expect things to fully set in for several weeks. But today, for whatever reason, I've suddenly gone really sad. He's far away (ok, not as far as he will be yet, but, the midwest is still pretty far from here, 4 time zones...) and I'm just sad. I miss him.
